There were loads there yesterday in 1 of the white boxes and about 11 other white boxes containing different things. This morning nothing, not even empty boxes.......Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Just returned from Kidderminster Tesco, lots of bits still there, bought a load of blank DVD's at 10p a pack and in the process of sharing them out with colleagues in the office.
Got challenged at the self scan checkout by the SA who said I couldnt buy 80 packs of the DVD's. She went and checked and come back and said no probelm and put them through for me.
Thanks to the people for posting this info!!0 -

the recordable dvds and the cd/dvd cases were still scanning at £1 at my branch this morning, so i would check before the checkout as this might not be in all stores.0

I've been in to Kidderminster store this morning (managed to get there before the person who bought 80 of the dvds!)...anyway.....DVD R discs are going trhough at 10p, but CD R ones are going through at 50p !!.
But get them whilst you can! And enjoy the bargains!
xAny fool can pay full price!!0 -

Also you do have to be careful with the quality of blank DVDs as they will not always play in all DVD players. I haven't tried these ones. The original price of 33p a disk was pretty expensive.
For those (like me) who did not know there were dvd-r and dvd+r
this is the difference:
DVD-R:
Benefits: Better DVD playback compatiblity within home DVD players.
Drawbacks: Older technology and less money behind the format means that they come out with faster media and burner technology slower. You will frequently see DVD burners that will support (for instance) 16X DVD+R and only 8X DVD-R.
DVD+R:
Benefits: Faster speeds, more inovations like Double Layer discs (8.5 GB)
Drawbacks: Will not play is some home DVD players. If you know your home DVD player will play DVD+Rs then there is no reason to not use them.
Only relised when i got home that i had bought a mix of the 2.0
