Hi all,
My daughter 's starting a course in a few weeks time near gatwick airport and needs to rent somewhere for approx 6-7 weeks, has anyone any ideas of agents or the like who do short term lets.

there are agents and one of them rents out furnished flats in crawley town center but not sure of details but was just saying there are some.

There are also some short stays available at Pease Pottage, to the south of Crawley, which are convenient for the airport if your daughter drives. Very well appointed. I think they are let through Greenaway Residential 01293-561188.
If your daughter is doing an aircrew course though, get her to speak to the airline, who will be able to fix her up - there are lots of rooms available in shared houses, which work out much less expensive than renting a whole flat. (I used to live in Crawley and let to a newbie aircrew every year

PS The local papers are The Crawley News (Weds) and Crawley Observer (Weds) \ the Herald (Fri) - you should be able to look the property small ads up online.
