Geo-caching...

We've been going out to all sorts of places not only in the UK but in other countries. Type in your postcode to find out where people have hidden caches in your area. Great fun, great exercise and does not cost if you don't want it to.

...and one of the nicest things is that it transcends the age groups too.

...and you find some very nice hostelries you'd never come across otherwise!

Obviously maps and GPS unit helps enormously but they're something for later on.

I have no other interest in the game other than being an active player (as is the wife) and getting out and about, having fun in the great outdoors and though other MSE'rs might like an intro.

Now the weather's getting mild, get out there and enjoy!

But when I got to be twenty one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years.”

I've been geocaching for a few years now and it is a good, healthy, and free way of getting fit and getting to see really interesting places you wouldn't normally visit.

You ideally need a GPS unit, but with the price of them coming right down, it's becoming available to more people. Even an old one off ebay would do the trick!

You can sign up for absolutley free on the official geocaching site at http://www.geocaching.com

If anyone has any questions, I'll try and give some answers. (And I'm sure Bernie won't mind giving his comments too!)
