Yesterday I mistakingly washed my OH's Kindle in the washer. It was only 6 months old. I thought it wouldn't be worth claiming on my house insurance before I paid the excess. Someone on here told me to contact Amazon. So I did that today and they're sending a brand new replacement 3G one for £50 (it's the keyboard one). I even told them I didn't buy it from Amazon (I bought it from Tesco) but it didn't matter.
So considering I didn't buy it from them, and it was me who put it into the washing machine, I think it's great that they're replacing a £150 device for £50. :A
