Looks OK to me - although I wouldn't stay at the Stratosphere.Pay the extra and stay at New York New York.

I agree with Trev, the stratosphere is a fair distance down "the strip" New York New York is more central.
Every day above ground is a good day.

I agree with the others my Mum stayed in the Stratosphere when I got maried in Las Vegas. I stayed in Harrahs which is central on the strip. I would suggest New York New York as it is also more cental and a great Hotel.

Heres a link for a map of the strip which will give you an ideal of how far the Hotels are apart

The deal for the stratosphere is ok, the other hotel deals are not so good.

All three hotels are available in March at some very good rates via deals/links on fatwallet.com

I personally like the stratosphere, the rooms are good (for the price) the pool is ok, with some good views as it is on the 8th floor (i think)..but best of all it has SINGLE ZERO roullette. One of only a couple of casinos in vegas that does.

  • the mackem, Not trying ot be clever but the NYNY is nowhere near central strip. There are about six casino/hotels that I would say are central they are BARBURY COAST, FLAMINGO, HARRAHS,IMPERIAL PALACE, CAESERS PALACE, BALLYS, PARIS PARIS, ALLADIN AND BELLAGIO. From these walking, bus, shuttle, monorail or taxi is very easy. There are many free shuttles from these central points. The quote you have is fab, but like others Stratosphere not being a bad hotle is now a bit isolated due to all the changes currently underway on Strip, you would have to get by an open undeveloped area from the Wynn to your hotel and this can be a bit unsettling especially at night. I am not saying it is dangerous but there many wierd and wonderful people in Las Vegas. When you go have a great time we will be there over May. (7th trip) Cannot get enough of it.

  • If you use priceline.com and the name your price option you can get it for next to nothing. My fiance and i stayed at MGM from 1-7th January this year for $80 (£40) a night.....

Would have to completely agree Ceasars , Bellagio and the Venetian are very central and all great Hotels, Think Bellagio is my favourite though ;)
