Bank of Scotland Preference Account

I contacted the BOS regarding PPI on my preference account, they offered me a goodwill settlement of £1500, due to the balance on the account I felt the sum offered did not reflect what I had paid over the years and I wrote to them and asked them to reconstruct the account by removing any premiums in respect of PPI. I received a phone call from them saying that they would do so. After three months of phoning them to get an update and lodging a complaint with the FSO I received a letter stating that they do not beleive I had PPI however they are still offering the goodwill settlement.
Any advice on what action I should take would be welcome.
Thanks

As this is a goodwill gesture, unless you have statements and an agreement to back the claim for reclaiming more ppi then the FOS will agree with the bank i am afraid.
This was goodwill so is not upheld, give FOS a ring and ask what to do.0
