Mother's day - any ideas?

Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster here. Am looking for good gift ideas for mothers day which is creeping up fast and i don't want to do the usual flowers from a garage forecourt/ box of milk tray!
I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get over to see my mum on the 18th, so could do with ideas for something that could be delivered/posted without breaking the bank.
If anyone has any ideas in mind that they wouldn't mind me pinching I'd be very grateful!

I'n giving mine a bunch of flowers, taking her out for a meal and giving her a voucher for a facial from her fave beauticians.:beer:0

I have ordered mine the photo mug that was advertised on MSE - with pictures of my 6 children on it! Will also invite her over for dinner. I tend to buy treats for my mum once a month because she's always special!

I've got one of these

It comes with a set of candles and a nice solar plant pot, something different from the usual flowers and choc!0 -
The best thing you can give is 'your time'.
A bunch of flowers; box of chocolates or the latest computer game is worth a lot less than spending time with people.
I think you need to do everything you can to get over to your Mums.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

As a mum myself, I quite fancy an artificial hanging basket of flowers. I've gone through good number of baskets of real ones, and think that the artificial ones will look nicer for far far longer. They can be found on ebay and amazon for around £20 - £25 delivered.
Good luck

I'm stuck for ideas other than the usual flowers and chocolates, and jewellery is apparently out this year.0

I'm a mother and there's nothing I like better than flowers and chocs! Why do you think they're so popular?!0

Hi all,
First post for me! Came on here initially looking for mortgage advice but ended up looking for some mothers day inspiration!
I also didn't want to get the usual flowers and chocolate box for mothers day. Was thinking a spa day/treatment thing? Found a pretty decent deal with Dove spa on a site called mighty deals.
Looks to be a lot included for only 60 quid - word of warning though - check the locations as there are only 17 in the uk. Luckily there is one up the road from me.
I may even get one for my fiance's birthday whilst I'm at it. :j
