SPEX4LESS.COM *fantastic*

My husband decided a couple of days ago that enough was enough. After many weeks of suffering with headaches/feeling sick his new pair of glasses from the local opticians were no good and the root of the problem. He dug out his prescription, went on the internet and went through the simply process of ordering some more from spex4less.com. After waiting less than 48 hours they arrived, wow what a difference!! He started to wear them immediately with immediate results, no foggy vision and strain on the eyes. He woke this morning with 'yeh' no headache. The original pair from the opticians cost £225 and are only fit for the bin, the pair from spex4less cost £29.95.
A very happy husband.........goodbye headaches :jhello vision:T

I cant believe you never went back to the optician he got them from. At that price I'd be back complaining and asking to get the fixed or my money back.

Have ordered 3 pairs from Spex4less this year and about to order a 4th pair sunglasses this time. I have always gone for the basic options as use them mostly at work so they tend to get knocked around a bit. So far, I'm very impressed with the quality of the frames/lenses and no quibble customer service and have started to recommend their site to friends and family.

Not sure I undestood the text you quoted, it does not seem to be written in English. Is it some new language invented by 'youfs' ?

Don't disapprove of the question at all - maybe, though, you would like to bear in mind, in the future, that there is no character limit on the forum.

If you go to their Home page you'll see there is a tab called "Free Guides" click on that and you'll see a PDF doc called "Free Guide to Purchasing Glasses Online". It should answer your question for you.

Alternatively, give them a call and I'm sure they'll be delighted to explain to you in person.

How do you get the size of your glasses? I'm talking about the distance between your ears. The optician always measures, how do you know that they are going to fit?

Valli, sorry for asking a question that you disapprove of. I won't ask any questions again so that you do not get upset. Also I wish I were a babe again, hopefully to grow up healthy.

You lot aren't half condescending at times on here.

Colin, if you read his profile, suffers from MS, so could be finding it hard to type out properly. He was only asking a question, which any normal nice person would reply to.

Colin, to get the measurements for glasses, you can look on the arm of a pair you feel fit correctly. It is normally quoted in a series of 3 numbers. Those being ( as on mine )

    50 lens diameter
    18 bridge width
    135 arm length

If you are asked for your pupilary distance, then have a look on you tube to see how this is worked out.

It annoys me on here that there seems to be a certain little 'clique' who decide that it is far more superior to slag someone off for their inability of spelling correctly, than to answer a reasonable question. There are reasons why some posts are badly spelt, someone could be dyslexic, they are typing on a mob phone, they are not as proficient at typing as others.

It is not big, or not clever just to ' bully' someone over how they have presented their posts. It is not a school playground ladies and gents !
