Fragranced bath bombs, candles, soaps etc?

Hi Guys,
I would love to know how to make these things, as I spend a silly amount of money on bought products, trying to bring as much fragrance as I can into my life!
I love bath bombs especially and was thinking about making some for Xmas, birthdays etc...
Candles too, I use them in my home every day, but the fragranced ones are so expensive...Also there is so much waste, when the wick is gone..
Could anyone help me with ideas to make similar stuff?
Thank you
Robster

have a look on You Tube hun - tutorials there on most things!
a lot of the things you have mentioned can be made at home - bath bombs etc but be prepared to go without the 'real' thing for a while as the 'ingredients' can be an expensive outlay initially! but the more you make the cheaper they can be - and you can sell the surplus!0 -
You can fragrance a candle by putting a few drops of essential oil or fragrance oil on the top of the candle (not the wick) before you light it. Fix a wick in a jar or old candle tin and pour all your melted wax into it to make a recycled candle, add a few drops of oil after each layer to make it scented. There are other ways of using wax but that is just an easy lazy one

Hobbycraft sell kits if you are not too confident. I think I paid About £8.00 for the olive oil soap base, which made 10 soaps!!! The moulds and lavender to add to it. They also sell colouring and smellies to add. You can also make bubble bath. When I got it though was on 3 4 2. Also you can use silcone moulds. Or an easy way is to collect the old bits of soap, store them in a zip lock bag when you have enough to make a bar, melt them in the microwave, I do this in 30 second bursts and pour into moulds. So you havent wasted anything. Good luck and have fun.Has anyone seen my last marble:A:A:A:A

To make bathbombs, mix 2 parts bicarb with 1 part citric acid. Add a few drops of essential oil and use a plant mister filled with water to spritz the mix. You want it to resemble damp sand.
Push the mix into a mould (a muffin tin works well) really hard. Turn the bombs out of the mould and allow to dry.0 -
AIR FRESHENER GEL
This is from “Thrifty Ways For Modern Days”.
Makes 500ml
INGREDIENTS
500ml of distilled or de-ionised water
1 packet of gelatine
Essential oil or fragrance of your choice
METHOD
Put 250ml of the water into a saucepan on a medium heat. Bring almost to the boil, then turn down the heat to low.
Add the gelatine. Stir thoroughly, until it is dissolved.
Remove the pan from the heat. Add the remaining 250ml of water.
Add 10 to 20 drops of the oil or fragrance, a few drops at a time, until it is as smelly as you want.
Pour the mixture into clean containers.
Leave them to cool overnight.
ADDITIONS & ALTERNATIVES
There are vegetarian alternatives to gelatine, like agar, carrageen and pectin, and also products with names like Veg-E-Gel and VegeSet.
Add some food colouring of your choice, a few drops at a time, until it is the colour you want.
You can put it in the fridge overnight, if you need it to set more quickly, but it will make the fridge smell.
TIPS
I use this to refill spent gel air fresheners. You could also use empty small food jars. You could also use small shot glasses, which are usually available from pound shops. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.
