  • The cc company from the start kept saying I authorised them by chip & pin so they must be mine. To be honest I have no idea if they can know that or not.

    hi, even with chip and pin you can ask for proof, i have to provide c/card companies with copies of slips on a regular basis where a customer is disputing a transaction,the slip shows whether the card was swiped or the number keyed in and the authorisation code,im sure someone with more expert knowledge will be able to advise you better,
    but im sure you are entitled to ask for proof of the transactions,
