..But, need to do more!
It's usually the "we're from microsoft, your pc is infected" brigade - I can generally tie these up for a good 20 minutes.
Today's were trying to flog an Electricity Saving Box for 99 quid...
Now, if I can get them to accept bank details I'll use one of the Inland Revenue's sort codes and account numbers just to keep them on the line, but they're increasingly wanting card payment.
Just making up a card number of course fails the first checksum hurdle.
Does anyone know of *legitimate* validateable card number sources, empty test accounts, that sort of thing?

Wouldn't you also need a CVV number to keep them interested ?0

Cheers billy, the selection of numbers kept them hooked for the best part of an extra hour.
Think i'm heading for record here - 40mins yesterday, 2h25 today followed by another 10mins talking to a pretty disgruntled bod - probably the one who would have trousered the 80 quid. Had them going round in circles in a clean, virtual machine with no system logs.
Then their own website went down - the one processing the cards. Classic, and amateur!!0
