I know I know never open attachments???

Epecting a parcel and I had an email from fedex. It said the parcel could not be delivered open the attachmnet to find out what to do.
I tried to open it but nothing happened exept a blank page showing.

I since did a search to find out it was probably a scam email.

I run avast and have done a full scan nothing found but am unsure if I have any infection on any exe. files?

Is there anything else I can do that can calm my fears?

Who sent you the email? You say FedEx, but was the email address it was sent from?

I'd also run a quick scan with the free version of malwarebytes.

had the same email today,went into my junk folder.tried to open attachment but my McAfee said it contained unknown virus and not to open it

If you expect a delivery then the only ones to open are the vendor's email, most of them either tell you the package is en route, or they say track you package via http oursite yourorder or similar ... the courier should have nothing other than your address and possibly a phone number. Sadly it is a scam
