    I have got a free trial on experian at moment, but cant see any reference numbers anywhere? there is a company on there call gmac-rfc, I got there number off google, but they said they have no record of me.

    Its driving me mad I know I have more that I just can't think of. Had a mercantile credit loan going back 15 years ago, but can't find any record of them now either.

    Have you tried ringing the PPI office in Manchester, the number is in the sticky for A to Z of bank addresses?

    They provided all the numbers for me as mine went back to 2003. Alternatively try SAR as suggested.

    The account number should be there at the left side, you only need one account number if the loans were with the same bank as you can ask them to address all loans you have had with them.

    I just did a blank SAR for rbs, with the account numbers I knew and all our details and previous addresses etc. They took ages, but did come back with some info. I at least have the account numbers now.

    Btw they gave us our £10 back because of their delays so ended up as free.

    rang the freephone number on friday, he has now give me an address to send a letter to get my records, they like sending you on a merry go round!!
