Fence panels

Hi all,

Where's the cheapest place to get 6ft by 6ft fence panels and get them delivered?

Wickes seemed pretty reasonable price wise for panels but delivery was £25 :eek: half the cost of the panels! Homebase weren't able to deliver either.

Any hints or suggestions please throw them at me

I've recently had a new fence fitted - looked everywhere to price up so I could get a bargain In the end I used my local timber merchants and got a lovely strong closeboard fence for the price most DIY places where charging for flimsy waney lap! Definitley worth a try if you've got somewhere local

Sorry, forgot to add that they didn't charge to deliver either and even carried all the panels to the back garden for me. They'll keep me as a repeat customer!

B&Q near us do van hire if you can drive. It's very cheap.

I agree with Archibear. Try your local timber merchant, most will deliver free and are usually way cheaper the B&Q etc.

Try searching on Ebay and arranging the results by distance. E.g. mine brings up a local place within 5 miles that offers free delivery (and has a bigger range on their website, which is linked on their Ebay auctions)

I tried my local timber merchant and got 3 panels (£14.85 each) and saturday delivery for £8 :T

Hi, have you tried AVS fencing? they may be a bit more expensive in the beginning, but is almost always less expensive in the long term.
