Hi,
I have had a quote for the removal of Urea Formaldehyde Building Insulation and the a top up again. £9,240 I am disgusted at this that i am .
I even contacted to companies that a friend gave me that was put on her post. I have had one phone call back!!! She hasn't had any contacts back from them at all! This has made me even more
Is there a DIY of doing this?!

Why do you think that you need the insulation to be removed.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

I have in my cavity Urea Formaldehyde insulation, which was put in 23years ago. As you can imagin it is now dust(we have checked with a boroscope). I would like it removed as it causes lots of health problems. My heating bill is sky high because I haven't got anything in my walls apart from dust.
We have had another quote for the removal of it £2,500 but they don't recomend filling the walls up again!
Barak; you have and dh and myself has read it thank you0 -
Have you had any problems with damp or mold growth in the dwelling due to the cavity wall insulation?
Also why did the contractor didn't recommend to fill the walls back with insulation?0
