Some advice, on many forms of claims, for anyone self employed in a Partnership.

Say you were injured and could not work for a year, and as a result the partnership loses money. You can only claim YOUR LOSS!!!!!!!!! So you need to structure the partnership so the entirety of the loss falls on you otherwise your partners may end up with loss, but with no way of getting redress.

At least you know there won't be more people claiming than were on the ferry. Bit hard to phone your mates to come and hop on board when you're in the lough!

Compensation culture NI rears its ugly head again, when did things get so distorted that any kind of suffering gets equated to a financial figure, how can money make a medical condition better? We have a free NHS and even free prescriptions here so cost of treatment is not an issue. Cash won't make the pain go away and neither will the big 50" TV you buy with the compo.

    Whatever happened to S41t happens?

I have never made a personal injury claim and don't expect I ever will unless I receive life changing injuries which require major finance to manage (god forbid) but hey, you just go for it, claiming for whatever you can get for an inconveience that many people just pick themsleves up and dust themselves down from, and I'll pick up the tab in my ever increasing premiums. No bother, it's only money hey?

Put the claim in. You are genuine, so why sit back whilst thousands of others claim for non existent injuries.

When your life is a mess, stop and think what you are doing before bringing more kids into it, it's not fair on them.

No it's not - it is a load of baloney. Free NHS yes, but how long do you have to wait to see a consultant, never mind getting treatment scheduled? Money gets you seen and treated quickly, that's what compensation can achieve. So cash can make the pain go away!
I am amazed at the way yorkie98 can make these diagnoses without even seeing people - why hasn't the NHS snapped him/her up long ago? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'd also add that prescriptions have only recently become free so for 10 years after my accident, I had to pay for over the counter painkillers and wait weeks for physio even when heavily pregnant.
