I too have a cookbook addiction - well a recipe addiction really... not only do I have a lot of cookbooks I also have two big folders of printed and cut out recipes split into sweet and savoury!
I started this year with a resolution to cook at least one new recipe each week and so far i've managed it - though that hasn't stopped me buying more - this last week alone I bought the cookie girls book, nigel slaters fast food and the big book of bread! - oh well1 debt vs 100 days part 6-11total paid £8,135.86 Final Debt [STRIKE]6,948.61[/STRIKE] £3,174.940 -
I still want to buy the Takeaway Secret, even though we don't buy many takeaways. There is another few I really want too, but I think I'm going to resist.
I have to resist, small house + big books = Nowhere to keep themCan't think of anything smart to put here...0 -

I know we love our 'real' books, but a while back they had Takeaway Secret to download for free on Amazon. At the moment it's not a good deal (£3.22), but it may come back if you keep an eye out. The Indian and American "Secrets" are 77p.

ETA Here is a link to other free cookbooks to download if anyone would like it:

I can't resist a good addition to the family...the Book People lead me to the dark side time after time... The last batch from them a couple of weeks ago included Dan Leppards baking book, Hairy bikers Xmas, and a couple of others, 'Ham,pickles and jam' and a book about chocolate I've not read yet, and one called how to dress your gingerbread....
I read this and ended up on the Book People with 5 books in my basket in as many minutes.
I love cookbooks. I'm pretty good at limiting myself to one shelf on my bookcase though. Thankfully my local library has quite an extensive cookbook collection that I can check out whenever I get a new book urge and the shelf is full!0 -
