what to do with unopened electricals after 1 year of purchase?

In a sticky situation with an oven purchase from comet auctions which has gone wrong....a year after wards realised it is the wrong size!

What options do I have, given that it is under extended warranty and has not been opened from its package.

Any suggestions please??

Desperate here....but newbie into first renovation and learning things the hard way:(

You have no rights for s refund or an exchange. Comet may allow you to, buy this is unlikely after this time.

Best bet is probably to sell the oven second hand and buy another.

To mirror the above comment, after a year you're probably out of options, sorry.

In view of the fact the oven is still in its packaging and not been opened I assume that it has not actually gone wrong but is just the wrong size.

The extended warranty applies to the oven going faulty, you can hardly expect Comet to change something after a year just because it is the wrong size especially if it was bought from the auction site.
