Critical Illness cover on mortgage ISA?

hi,
I took out an ISAs back in 2000 to be used like an endowment to pay back my mortgage. I've been paying into it each month since then but have subsequently changed to repayment mortgage and have been keeping the ISA as a savings vehicle for retirement. I've just noticed that I've been paying Critical Illness cover on this ISA since it started (in addition to the Life Insurance I was aware of). Is this PPI?
thanks
Sarah

There was really no other way to put it. Its a bit like asking if a car is a motorbike. or is a banana an apple.

Of course - all advisers should know in advance who is going to have to claim and only sell to them - and even then should not do so until just before they are going to have to claim.

I would type a longer answer but I am now off to try and get compensation as I havent had to claim on my house insurance. Got to be someone to blame for that.

I'm afraid your post is null and void as there weren't any exclamation marks used. Post has been reported.
Please read the forum guidelines and next time use at least six, preferably with some word in CAPITAL LETTERS and a few question marks, to indicate shock and a 'how dare they' mindset.
