  • used https://www.carjet.com for a few years now usually the best price and you usually get an upgrade if you book the cheapest car

    Above reccomendations are good.

    Also try https://www.malagacarhire.co.uk
Ring a Uk number and speak to british person, pay cash sterling on arrival .

Recently at Malaga a lot of companies charge you for a full tank of fuel and you are expected to bring it back empty . Problems with this are a full tank of fuel is very expensive ( I once complained there is no way a 206 holds 80 litres) and also brining it back empty is not so easy . Take this into account when booking .
Also look out for collision damage waiver charges and large excesses. You do the maths ;)

I once endede up with crown car hire at malaga airport and had a 2 hour wait at reception.
On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.

We use carjet, who are a broker for all the car rental companies.Like bestyman said, if one of the rental companies is busy (probably all carjet customers) you can indeed expect a long wait. It is an excellent idea to book the cheaper car and then get a better car , on the basis of buying the extra insurance cover, which is not a bad deal anyway. Just a word of warning though , if you need kids seats , take our own , as some of them are a bit dodgy- we learnt that the first time we took DS1 away and ended up having to use rope to secure the seat !
