Removing 'lock code' from a miniSD card??

My brothers phone (Nokia 6280) was taken for repairs and when he got it back the memory card which he kept on him all the time didnt work.

What I mean by didnt work is everytime he tries accessing his files it says enter the lock code.

He did not set no code. Is there any way of removing this? reflashing? Can't reformat

Any advice?!?

I also want to know this as my little brothers MMC card for his Nokia 6230 is locked, so he can't access his files.

found these 4 options on a search - dont know if any will work
1. Search for the file MMC store at C: using any file manager such as Sele Q, Fileman, etc. Change the file to .txt and the password for your MMC is there. (Don't format your or you'll lose the file)
2. Reformat your MMC using Nokia 9210 or 6680. (Data will lose for reformatting the card)
3. Reformat your MMC using certain memory card reader which can read locked MMC.
4. Just cover the last pin that is close to the cut edge of the card with some clear tape.
