Bank charges

in Reclaim bank & credit card charges
Informed bank by phone that i wanted 6 years of statements, they have not arrived but recieved an offer this morning for eight hundred and ten pounds as a goodwill gesture. Phoned bank again and it turns out my charges tally up to one thousand seven hundred and nine pounds. Can i refuse and start with the second letter..
