Pounds or Euros

Recently bought some goods from duty free in France on my debit card and they asked if I wanted the transaction to go through in euros or pounds......still unsure which way would work out the best - anyone advise please

    Euros - if you ask for it in Pounds then the vendor decides the exchange rate not your bank/CC company

    Alanrowell is right, if they charge you in sterling they will choose an exchange rate and it is likey to be very poor. Pay in Euros.
