  • It would have been interesting to see what would happen if your vouchers exceeded your spend! Would you get change?

Not only would it be legalised shoplifting but legalised robbery as well ;-D

    Well done!

  • Thanks! Didn't want to push my luck but realised if I had used a 25p coupon instead of a 20p one would have got it down to 1p!!!!!!! ;D
  • Got a £19.46 spend for 6p!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One happy bunny - several whites and mackays and some sainsbury's vouchers.

  • I've now used six vouchers in my last 3 visits to Tesco's with no questions asked since last Saturday.

  • Would just love to know how Gobbyash managed to use the Durex voucher - my local store advised me two weeks ago that the bar code on the voucher does not match the product, and that is why they are having so much trouble putting in the numbers!  I have not dared to use one since.

And by the way, many thanks for the £2.50 whiskey coupon - used three today in three different trips between Tesco and the car park, a lovely saving of £7.50 on my weekly shop, and that on top of the other coupons I was able to use. Wish they would up the limit of five coupons for each visit though. Guess we should be thankful!
  • Hi Loobey

I just tell them that it doesn't scan and they key in the amount ie £2 and process it as a non scan item.

    Simple!

Thanks for this one. I've used 3 vouchers in Tesco so far without buying the product. In my last shop I handed the cashier 2 vouchers and she took them without question.

TIP: print them out in different sizes/colour/black and white - they look like different vouchers then.

I need to print out some more now!

  • My local Tesco will not accept the whiskey voucher - they state that it is only money off a total spend Sainsbury voucher they will accept, not vouchers against a specific product. And, this was after I had three of them accepted at the Burnley store last week.

They also state that the Durex voucher bar code does not match the coupon so I dare not present any more of them.

My two major coupons down the drain.
