Evans mastercard from Santander cs query

in Credit cards
Hi all
I will try and keep this as brief as possible and hope some kind person can help me!
some years ago I opened a card account with Evans ( part of arcadia group) backed by GE money
you completed an application form and GE money gave you either a store card or a full credit card - which accrued loyalty points for each purchase which would be converted into vouchers to use in the store.
My card arrived and it was a mastercard credit card and I have been using it ever since with little or no problems
Last month was my birthday month and when I received my statement inside was a letter with an offer stating as a birthday present if I spent £50 or more in store on my card I would receive 500 bonus points worth £5 in vouchers
had some items to buy so I spent £69 in February
fast forward to today - new statement arrives and no sign of the 500 bonus points.
I called "customer services " ( what a joke!) which was in India
the chap struggled to grasp what I was asking and firstly told me that the store had to put the points on the card, this is absolutely not the case - if that were true how would Evans staff know when to put points on from other retailers such as matalan, amazon etc - also they do not have access to credit card details.
When I pointed this out to him, he then said the letter was obviously spam - ??
I then asked him how someone could get hold of my statement from Santander and insert a spam letter before the envelope was sealed in order to spam me.
he then said there was nothing he could do - no problem, I asked to speak to a manager- none available, I asked to speak to their centre in the UK, they don't have one ?!
so, today I have spent a total of almost 3 hours trying to track down a department within Santander UK that actually deals with these accounts- Santander complaints department told me they cannot access former GE money accounts, despite Santander taking GE money over - and every person I have spoken to directs me back to Evans credit card customer services in India
please don't think I am being racist, but the call centre in India is not remotely concerned about my 500 points ( which have now become a point of principal for me!) nor are they able to tell me why they haven't been credited to the account.
All I want to do is speak to someone who can actually sort this out - India doesn't seem able to and the UK say they have NOTHING to do with the Evans master card - even though it is backed by Santander, my money is paid to Santander and if I default it is Santander who will chase me for it!
can anyone advise a number where I can get something sorted by them?
I will try and keep this as brief as possible and hope some kind person can help me!
