Sky error code 104

Help please. I have upgraded from sky+ to sky+HD today,but i now can not use the interactive services or set up the HD channels. When ever i try i get error code 104 and when you check in settings it says phone line not connected. Worked fine on the + box. Tested the socket with a phone that works fine,tried another lead and swaped microfilters but still get code. Spoke to some dippy girl at sky who after 15mins sugested i left the box for 72 hours and tried again???? Help guys please

Ring Sky again, they should be able to help you. Forget the dipstick.

Did you do the upgrade yourself, and did you follow the procedure to pair your viewing card with the new box?
Sky recommended I did a forced software upgrade when I upgraded to Sky+HD.
I assume you subscribe to the HD pack.

Yes i did the upgrade myself but could not pair card to box due to the error code. I rang sky to explain and the lady said she could set it up over phone. She took card number,serial number of box etc and said it was all set up. It was only later when tried to use the interactive that i noticed the error code was still there and thats when i rang to report fault and was told wait 72hours.
I switched box on this morning and tried again, before ringing sky and it is now working and i've gone through the set up again and paired the card/box and getting HD channels. I assume it updated overnight????0
