Is this a valid reason for reclaiming ppi?

I had 2 credit cards, egg and lombard. At the time the agreements started and ppi added I was already covered by a hospital plan (payments made to credictors if in hospital) and personal accident plan. Are these cause for complaint?
I would like to avoid a claims company to find this out!

No. PPI does not overlap on benefits with a hospital cash plan.

Would accident cover overlap with ppi and would this be a valid reason for claiming a company missold ppi ? Trying not to use a company! The company i enquired with wants 30 percent of reclaim.

No. Accident insurance is considered a bit of a joke of a policy. its a cash cow for insurers. It doesnt overlap with PPI or income protection.

hospital cash plans are not a form of income protection. They pay nominal amounts in the event of certain types of claim.

Thanks for the reply.I understand Hospital plan not overlapping but would accident cover not overlap if it was one of the 3 items that my ccard ppi was covering me for?

Accident cover in the sense it is referred to in financial services is payment of a lump sum on the loss of a limb, finger, sight etc. It is not for provision of income. Therefore that has no overlap with payment protection. Is that what you mean by accident cover?
