Order placed 20 Jan, with fitting booked for 9th Feb - they didn't turn up, didn't ring to reschedule.

Now the 6th March, and I can't get hold of them. No answer when I've tried their 0845 number. email to the address on the order form are bounced. email to their sales email address not answered.

I'm glad I only ordered the one blind now. Thought they were reputable.

    He he! Very good.

I think they're still in business. The problem is that they're run as franchises, and my local one seems to be a scam artist?

Disappointing that they appear not to want to hear from customers. I'd recommend to anyone thinking of using them to choose someone else.

When you placed the order, how did you pay and did you pay a deposit or the full amount.(and how much was it?)

    I've paid 50% - about £80.
  • If you paid via a credit or debit card then contact the card issuer and explain what has happened and request a chargeback of the £80.

I managed to get through to the top management today, and what a transformation. Window re-measured today (chap drove from Chichester to do it), and fitting is booked for Weds. So credit where its due - the top management really do care.

(Apparently it was an agent who hadn't been doing his job properly, and has been terminated [not because of me]).

They've also fixed the non-working email account. And phoned me at least three times through the day to make sure that they were doing everything they could to resolve it.

(And they're not playing to the audience - they don't know about this thread)

Blinds fitted yesterday as promised. And they did a good job.

A good ending. The mark of good customer service isn't that they don't make mistakes, but how they sort it our when they do. A good result
