Has anyone used this company and what are they like?

Their quote is currently coming up extremely cheap on a comparison website but I've never heard of them.

Please be careful with this site - they have no privacy notice (in breach of the Data Protection Act). They email your details to you when you buy, completely unsecured - I ended up receiving someone else's personal details and application form! When I approached them, it was clear they didn't have a clue about data privacy. Their website is also non- FSA compliant, which I have also raised with them. They say they have now employed a compliance firm to advise them, but so far I have seen no changes to their site. They use a US firm to send you the emails (they don't have the same standards of data privacy in the US as they do in the UK) and their data is stored on a cloud' server - notoriously unsecure. Personally, I won't be dealing with them again - not unless they clean up their act.
