Windows keeps closing on its own?

Hi Guys,

My lappy keeps shutting down on its own and then I have to restart. Its not when I'm using it, only when I've left it on for a while. It says :

Difficult to pinpoint from that error message. I'd be inclined to back up all your documents, emails etc and then reinstall the operating system (if it came with a reinstall CD?). Then if the problem persists after clean install, it's a hardware issue - possibly heat related.

if no joy with that, maybe start looking at overheating issues

aye, try non-rebuld solutions first like overheating issues (e.g. clean out dust from your fan and so forth).

its windows 7, but what computer is it? some spec details may help others help you
