Error 0xc0000022

I have recently got a new laptop and have tried running the latest Football Manager (2012). It seems to be installed ok but when I go to start the programme a message appears as follows:

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022). Click OK to close the application."

Does anyone have any suggestions to sort the problem. I tried to google however each "fix" appears to suggest the programme won't run with Windows 7.

Grateful for any assistance and advice.

In the folder for Football Manager in My Documents, have you got a movies folder?

    Possibly, Football Manager \data

I can see that. Data and Movies.

But there is now also an error message about d3dx9_41.dll being missing and says I should reinstall the programme. Didn't uninstall this so very confused!

Here is the reason for asking

    http://www.fm-balkan.com/forum/topic/6312-tehnicki-problemi-sa-steamfootball-manager-12/page__st__20

    Post 24 has

" Izbriši folder Movies u Football Manager 2012\data\
I mene je izbacivalo pa sam izbrisao Movies i sad bez problema radi

Edit: Zaboravih da ti kažem, napravi backup tog foldera. Ko zna za kad može da ti zatreba."

Which google translate turns in to

" Delete Movies folder in Football Manager 2012 \ data \
And it threw me, so I deleted the Movies, and now works without problems: lol:

Edit: I forgot to tell you, make a backup of this folder. Who knows when you might need. "

Possibly better to copy the folder to another folder you create in My Documents, before removing it from the \ data folder

If that does not help, maybe use add and remove programmes to uninstall it, run CCleaner scan for issues if you have that, then re-install it and copy and remove the movies folder before running it.
