Hope you understand this, its a question from my daughter at uni.
When she goes onto the online uni library site on the desktop she can view all pages of a book clicks open, ie 1- 250.
It is an adobe link.
But when she tries it on her lappy she has to download each page individually.
I've downloaded latest version of Adobe reader.
Anybody have any clues? She really needs it sorting as she needs to search through the various books.
Hope this makes sense.

What browser is she using on each machine?
It could be that the desktop is caching the pdf, while the laptop is not and having to download the relevant part each time a new page is displayed.
If it's the same browser, compare the settings and possibly you'll find a difference - or just try another browser on the laptop.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards.
