Dabs.com - whats their refund/returns policy like

I am getting nervous as I returned a camera and wondered if anyone had experience of how long it takes them to reimburse your money back to your credit card?

I have used Amazon in the past, for other things, and have found they refunded within days.

Good point and glad I used signed for delivery method. To be fair they say it can take up to 30 days but I just wondered if it really too that long in the experience of MSE folk

I've always found dabs to be great when there are no problems with an order, and they honour the DSR refunds without a murmur, but if you have a faulty product and RMA it, oh dear...

As you say, Amazon probably have the best returns/refund policy of any on line retailer. imho

Personally my expereince with Dabs has been poor especially in terms of returns. I had hoped that BT taking them over would improve things, but not yet...

This website draws together various reviews, and doesn't make good reading...

Incidentally 30 days is the legal limit for refunding items ordered via the net. Secondly you have recourse to the CC company if you hit probs (assuming you paid by cc). Recently with one company I had to recourse to my CC - they refunded me same day!
