Dublin restaurant recommendations

We're off to Dublin next weekend for Paddy's day and presuming it'll be fairly busy. Just wanted some suggestions on decent restaurants so we don't waste too much time trudging around finding everywhere's full. Looking for fairly normal food (Steaks/burgers/Italians) OH not particularly into Indian or spicy, but can cope with Chinese.
We went about 18 months ago and were a little underwhelmed with the restaurants we ate in so hope for a little more luck this time. We're staying off Temple Bar so anything within a reasonably short walk of there would be great.
Don't mind equivalent of around £40- 50 for 2 courses for 2 with a drink.
Thanks in advance!

This is a good Irish restaurant in the heart of Temple Bar: http://www.boxtyhouse.ie/ - it may be a little expensive but just about everything is in Temple Bar.0

hi,
lots of good places in Dublin, here are a few in and around the city centre that have been consistantly great
Cornucopia, Wicklow Street, near the Temple Bar area. It is vegetarian but great for lunch and breakfast.http://www.cornucopia.ie/
Butlers for coffee and tea, lots of these dotted around city centre, puts nero, starbucks etc. all to shame. And you get a great chocolate with your coffee. http://www.butlerschocolates.com/pages/Butlers-Chocolate-Cafe/Butlers-Chocolate-Cafe.htm i always get some chocolates here to bring back for people in England.
We always have one meal in Dunne & Crescenzi, South Frederick Street - not the cheapest but for the quality it is excellent value. I can recommend the fillet of beef and balsamic vinegar sauce...the best I have had. They also do a great breakfast, my DH loves the ham, scrambled egg and croissant. http://www.dunneandcrescenzi.com/#!__main/contact-us/vstc3=south-frederick-st
lots of ice cream parlour and cake shops to try out as well.
if you need any other info let me know.....
hope you have a great time.0 -

Ignore the beggars............they are really millionaires.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

£40 - £50 in Dublin might get you a Mcdonalds to share, or maybe half a tuna sandwich each from Tesco.0
