How quick do co-op pay out their £100 for joining bonus?

I can't stand their online banking system at all - it's worse than first direct!

I'm only hanging on as i've not yet been paid out the £100. Yes, that's £100, not the £200 that had a long thread on it a while ago. I joined via some "infinity" i think it was link to do with Britannia & Stoke City FC.

I've met their criteria, i just want to know when it'll be paid so i can close the account.

Hopefully i'm not the only one on MSE who took them up on this £100 'offer'.

Anyone with an idea? Back on to page 1 anyway.

Ah so you've gone with Britannia's £100 switch incentive...
Can i just ask what are their criteria? 2 SOs/DDs and £800 month?
Also, did you have to prove at all that you are a stoke city fan by answering any specific questions at all?
I'm tempted to go for it as well but not sure as i'm not exactly a stoke city fan....

Nope, i didn't have to prove i was a stoke fan (i'm not). The switching process didn't go the smoothest (i called britannia who told me to call co op who then had never heard of the £100), but when i FINALLY got someone who had heard, they said if i meet the criteria, i'll get the money.

I didn't know it was still on offer though.

No gain without a bit of pain!

You will have received a letter confirming when your DDs/SOs had been transferred. You then had to pay min £800/m for three months and you will be paid your £100 by the end of the 4th month.

If you picked up on this offer via MSE then it would have been from a link I posted. I applied for this offer within a couple of days of it going live. I got my letter dated 30th November stating that all my SO/DDs had been transferred. Therefore 3x £800s in Dec/jan/feb means I will get my £100 before 31st March.

    Patience...

Still being advertised incidentally (including full T&Cs)

    Ethical moneysaver
  • Anyone know if they close the account you are switching from. I don't mind them transferring the 2 standing orders (Ive set 2 small dummy ones up) but I'd like to keep the other current account open.

Usually they give you the option.

I wonder if this switch incentive is still available? Do you need at least one DD?

    It would appear so https://www.emoneyfacts.co.uk/news/current-ac-news.aspx?newsarticleid=214471

£50 for Chelsea FC, Everton FC & Sunderland AFC supporters
    http://www.britannia.co.uk/_site/affinity/cfc/index.html

and £100 for Stoke FC supporters

I doubt they will have many takers for the £100 offer
