Receiving money for raffle tickets - ideas for online selling

I just wondered if anyone has any ideas as to how we can receive money for selling raffle tickets remotely. We can take money on the day but it would be fab if I could get people via email and our charity's fb page to buy them. I have looked into google checkout and paypal but both take a fee. It wouldn't be worth it. Justgiving is no good as the charity does not have a justgiving site (we are fundraising for a regional part of a national charity).
We have a fundraising account and I did wonder about asking people just to make a payment into that with a name so I know who has paid and I can send out tickets etc . Would people do that? My Mum looked at me oddly when I suggested it as some people seem to think that is not safe. I can't see why personally but maybe I am being naive.
We need to publicise this on our website but I need to get sorted how we plan to take payment first. This particular raffle is for a Mulberry purse (worth £210) so I am keen to get it right! We should raise a fair bit for this hopefully in memory of our daughter.
Thanks for any advice and help
ETa - We do have a license from the council and official tickets with all the right info on. They would be sent to all remote purchasers.
