Hey,

Just signed up - another outlet to make some more money back is always good. Anyone got any experiences or tips with them? I don't really intend to buy from there, but could always been tempted I suppose.

I want to sell on Amazon, and have been, just think my feedback is a bit shot at 82% now and don't think many people are going to buy!

Same as fay really. I've been registered with GM for about 18 months and have approx 120 books listed. I think in total I have sold 8 books now, but the odd thing is I always sell in pairs. 2 one month, then nothing for a few months, then another 2. This week for instance I actually sold 2 on the same day!

As you say though any new outlet is welcomed and I tend to double list in GM and Amazon and just delete them from the other place if I sell anything.

I sell on GM too and it seems to be picking up for me, your books go in a list and gradually work their way to the top of list to be seen by the buyer (the buyer is only shown 2 books of the same title to choose between) - also their book wish list is really small and handy too, I noticed 2 on there that I had on for sale on amazon for less money, i quickly listed them on GM and sold them within hours.OP don't give up on anazon just because of less than perfect feedback, just sell a few more and you'll climb out of the 80%s into the 90%s

Iv never managed to sell anything on Green Metropolis but have bought a few off there and thing they are pretty ace!!

We may have bought and sold from MSE users without knowing it!

I listed about 30 books on GM aswell as ebay and amazon, sold most of them on either ebay or amazon, none on GM, only got 3 left on ebay now

I think that's the same on alot of things. Amazon, eBay, freecycle....
