I've sold replica armour (try packing that..I could barely lift it!) plus replica swords with a name that I don't think I can mention on here..but any ancient militarist will know which one I mean.

A signed balloon, plus other signed and non signed sci fi stuff. In fact some of the sci fi stuff I used to sell was pretty weird..oh yes, a skant (original style Star Trek dress).

    I sold a plasic foot for a 1970's computer for a fiver.
  • I sold a home made, 2 ft long scale model of a rizla packet.

Gave me the opportunity to open my first NPB dispute... bizarrely, also had a retracted bid. She did finally pay up though.

Actually, something stranger than the sale itself was probably that I found reason to MAKE a scale model of a rizla packet in the first place...

not really that strange, but just to prove you can sell anything on ebay.
i cleared out the shed and found loads of old camera gear. all of it was in poor condition due to damp etc..
i put the lots on ebay and was honest with descriptions etc.. they all started at 1p.
every single item sold! and some of the prices attained, made me fall about laughing.
and all got me a positive FB!
    brilliant.
    Get some gorm.

    Sounds an odd prohibition.

    Or are the names obscene?

Depends on what you were smoking... you may have got a little confused and been working in feet rather than inches.

Could have been worse though you could have been working on the metric scale and ended up with a 2 metre Rizla packet.

Maybe not, but I've heard rumours that you're heavily into this biro thing
  • I sold 2 pairs of vintage nylon Y-fronts for £10.50, and a broken cheapo APS camera for 20p (sold as "miracle child distraction prop").

weirdest sale rather than item was a Dr martins rubber type backpack,it was second hand but very good condition,we had seen one on completeds that was brand new but had not sold for £4.99, but we thought oh well we will list it anyway,we put gay fettish in the title and it sold for about £30,i couldn't believe it, unfortunately i have not had anything else to sell that I could realy class as a possible fettish item.shame.
