We have a similar problem, so I can sympathise. Our road is full of terraced houses, but with most homes now having two cars (and many commercial vans too), parking space is limited. To cap it all, people from other roads without parking also park in our road. We often have a huge van parked outside our house, and I've reported it twice now for parking on the pavement (once it blocked a chap on a disabled trike thingy). The owner is a well known local thug, so approaching him is a no no!
The council were no use at all. Same for the police.
I've given up, and we're looking for a house with its own drive.
I know that often, caravans are not allowed on new developments ether, so my advice would be the same as the others.0 -

I think this really depends on the developers and/or whether the estate is still being built on or not; also whether other local residents complain.
If these neighbours seem agreeable people then it might be worth speaking to them, but in my experience people these days are increasingly selfish, inconsiderate and get very defensive about their property and 'rights'. Speaking to them directly might just make the situation worse, and if you THEN speak to the developers who contact the neighbours directly, you can bet they'll know who was responsible...
Personally I would just speak to the developers straight away and ask them if they would contact the people in question and ask them to stop parking the trailer outside their house.
We had a similar (well, kind of...) problem with local kids using the car park outside our house as a football pitch, despite the house documents clearly stating that communal areas such as car parks weren't to be used for ball games. We wrote to the land management company who willingly put a sign up on our car park, and wrote to all residents nearby, reminding them of the rules, which did sort it out.
(I hope no one thinks we were unreasonable in doing this - there is a purpose-built playing field opposite our estate, and we'd seen their ball hitting our cars too many times to recall, and got fed up with it).0 -

Ignorant drivers used to do it outside my house until I played merry hell with our council's Highways Dept. - I've now got bollards (if you'll pardon the expression!)
That made me chuckle!!!Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

Similar situation. Developers got so fed up with trying to get their diggers through (they're still building the estate) they got the management company to put up signs telling people they'd get clamped, issued parking permits etc
Management company don't manage though and the signs are never enforced. it was lovely round here for a month, then when people realised it was lip service, it's now back to how it was.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
