Life Assurance Cashback

Does anyone know of any cashback deals for life insurance/assurance?

I've looked on quidco and topcashback but it appears the cashback deals are for car/home ins only.

  • Hi

Im looking at DL, have noticed the link goes through to the household insurance page, did it do this for you? im a bit worried it wont pick up the link as you have to go thru another link to get to Life Assurace

Crikey if you do the £6 a month you will get more back than you pay in the first year and they are doing a night away in a hotel too!!

    sounds good to me

how would it work if you took out 2 policies?? Say you wanted cover for 120,000 took 60,000 with one place and the other half with another???
Can this be done or can you only take out one and get paid on one??? Don't shoot me please.

Think what i would do would be (if both policys are for you) id take one with direct line, for £60000, then take one for £60000 with n/union, there for getting £85 cash back from d/linem pluss night away, and £45 from n/union pluss £15 m&s vouchers after your third monthly payment has been debited, this is ok as long as its not morgage related, and just a life term policy ........ hope this helps

That helps thanks but, I am still confused. We are looking to cover the morgage incase one of us pops our clogs. so does this mean two policies would not pay out??

I am totally new with all this insurance stuff.

Hubbie is self employed,we have 3 wee ones and buying a house which we move into on friday. All these different types of insurance are very confusing at the moment. We are looking for A)cover incase he has an accident to cover the payments till he is o.k again and then B) incase one of us goes up above (or down below!!) then hopefully the mortgage would get paid off.

    Which covers do we need??

im not sure if 2 companies covering the same morgage would pay out, and your morgage company may not allow it either, as they have a vested intrest in it. what id do after asking them would be take a policy for you at the amount needed to cover your morgage, then the same for your hubby, that way if anything happens to either of you the house is paid for protecting the kids and the remaining partner, then id take a policy (term life) ie £60000 on you both so the remaiining one has a lump sum... and no nasty shocks or worries about money in the first few yrs if anything happend.and if u go through quidco u can get money back on them all,

if you want cover for if hes off work it works out very dear and only pays out after a certain amount of time ..... my advise would be try and save and pay alittle more on your morgage so u could have a break if at all possible, also get a decreasing insurance in line with your morgage as this should be slightly cheaper as u pay your morg off

Gosh thanks for all that. I have it all sorted in my head now(i think)
we have gone for life insurance to the sum of our mortgage. This is o.k isn't it?? So if one of us pops it then the money will pay mortgage off. We are on a repayment mortgage but the life term seemed better than the mortgage protection policies??

Shall I take out these cash back ones as well??? Just for the hotel,m&s etc????
