Hi,
I'm an Ebay newbie so I was hoping I could get some advice?
I am thinking about buying a camera lens on ebay. I'm happy with the sellers feedback etc but I was wondering where I stand if the item became faulty in the future? The lens has been used a couple of times but is basically in new condition. I realise the seller would not have any liability but would the manufacturer still have any liability to repair in the future?
Thanks
SB

When used goods are sold, it's pretty much 'buyer beware' - you may like to check whether the item includes a warranty. If the item is beyond its warranty, whether you'd bought it on ebay or in a shop, you'd have to pay for a repair either way.My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Remember also to only pay by paypal backed by a credit card. That protects you short term against non receipt or an item turning up different to that being auctioned.
