finding old account number

Sorry if this has been answered countless times.I had an old credit card with capital one at a previous address.I need to find out the credit card number so what information do I have to give capital one for them to give me this information considering it was opened and closed at an old address.

P.s. which capital one address would i wriye this letter to.

I applied for a free 30 day trial with experian. Some of my old loans/credit cards had the last 4 numbers of the account numbers but I couldn't find anything on there for my egg credit card so emailed experian asking for their assistance. They emailed me within a few days explaining tgey had the information but for data protection could not email those details. They did however send my egg account number in the post.

you just phone them, this has worked so far for me. they just ask your date of birth, name and then give them the address at time of having that card.
