MBNA Card PPI - Help please

Hello,
I have just been sorting out some old paperwork and have found an old MBNA Credit card statement and much to my suprise, there was PPI listed. I originally took the card out at some airport in 2006.
In 11/2009 I was no longer able to service my debts and entered into a DMP and in February 2011, MBNA accepted a F&F offer for the outstanding balance at 55%, ca. £5600, the account was settled and I have letters and
statements confirming this. MBNA never placed a default on my account and it is listed as settled since March 2011.
Now, can I still claim PPI refund and would the above have any impact/effect on this? I am also no longer in a DMP.
And what would my first step be?
Thanks for your help
