Ipod Conversion, help required

Hopefully someone may be able to assist.

A friend has been given a CD which contains numerous albums, which I believe are in MP3 format. She runs itunes on her PC but on loading the disc she is having trouble getting the tracks to downloadinyo itunes, tried the usual sync button ect.

Is there an easy way of getting them into tunes in bulk? I am aware that you can drag them over one by one and itunes should convert them into AAC, but this process will take forever.

The albums play no bother in Windows Media.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

They don't need to be converted, iTunes and iPods play mp3s, in fact it's a bad idea to convert any compressed format to another compressed format as you'll lose sound quiality. Just copy them to the hard drive and go to Add To Library in the File menu. Then they can be dragged onto the iPod.

If you put them all into one folder you then have an option to import a folder. This saves you taking ages doing them one at a time.

On an Apple Mac you select all the tracks and drag them onto the iTunes window. Job done. (Windows sounds really complicated!)
