sites with cheap package holidays?

hi ive been looking around for a cheapish package holiday in may/june flying from scotland to pretty much anywhere that sounds nice. ive looked on a few different websites that have come up from links on https://www.teletextholidays.com but am fed up with them quoting on 4 adults and not including various other costs so you have to phone an 0870 number then also the prices shoot up about £100 each.

can anyone advise of decent websites that offer cheap package holidays where i can maybe pick up a good deal?

You could try http://www.lastminute.com and http://www.expedia.co.uk

Both have calculators which you can input your dates and numbers in the travel party. You can choose flight only, package, hotel only etc.

I have used expedia for a hotel in Ireland and Lastminute for a hotel in Newcastle. No problems experienced with either.

I booked a holiday recently with Thomas Cook online https://www.thomascook.com, again you put in your requirements so that the prices are shown per person. Just to note - when I was booking the holiday on line I had a query and phoned them, they said that if you book on line sometimes booking a late deal you only get 15kg luggage allowance, but if you enter your details under the main holiday tab you get 20kg allowance. Therefore worth checking when finally booking as many airlines are now charging for overweight luggage

being obsessed with moneysaving, ive been searching everywhere for the best deal on a good package holiday (to the red sea if your interested). Ive found, surprisingly, that first choice seems to be a lot cheaper than the other bigname companies such as thomas cook or thomson. try them - https://www.firstchoice.co.uk

by the way, what is also good is that inflight meals, etc are already included in the price, unlike other tour opertors who add these on at the last minute.

i was well surprised. Ive also been told https://www.eclipsedirect.co.uk does good deals, though for me they were all sold out.

ps i agree https://www.holiday-truth.com is an excellent site for tips on holidays and also has hotel reviews from real holidayers, so make sure your hotel is up to scratch there before booking. The forums will give you more info too.

You are travelling at a comparatively quiet time.Try doing it yourself.Go to
https://www.whichbudget.com/en for instance and check cheap flights out of your nearest airport.
Once you have found some cheap flights to a particular destination or two-go to google.Type in cheap hotels or good value hotels or quality hotels or self catering accomodation in Mallorca or wherever the best flights are, to find a place to stay.Then ring direct and see what they say.I don't think they will want to lose four adults at that time of the year.
