Where can I buy cheap curtain/cushion fabric in North West

Hi,

I want to make some cushions and curtains and am looking for one of the 'Discount Mill' type places to buy my fabric.

Does anyone know of anywhere they could recommend within the Bolton/Chorley/Leigh/Wigan area please?

Thank you

    Thank you for the replies.

The stall on Bolton market was gone last time I looked for it but maybe it was just that week, I will go again and look.

I have tried Boundary Mill but thought it was quite expensive, also Dunhelm Mill.

Another half a dozen votes for Abakhan (me and 5 friends that LOVE the place) :)
  • There is a mill on Chorley Old Road, I can't remember the name of it but you can't miss it. My father was a tailor and when he made curtains he bought the material from there.

Also try Bury market, I have bought material there to re cover the seats in a caravan and also curtains, You want the outside stalls.
Wow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p

Terrys Fabrics in Stockport is good - out near Edgeley. They have a website and you can order a sample for free so no wasted journey if you don't like anything

I moved down south a while ago, but there's a little fabric shop that specialises in discounted curtains etc tucked behind a row of shops in Burscough. Look between the Spar and the florists.
