Dell PC working Monitor not righ colour

Hi, got another problem with PC the correct colour on my monitor screen, I got the disk that came Monitor when purchased it but when I load it asked for Spectral Code which I do not have. It is a LG Flatron screen L1915S, I do not want to purchase a new screen right now. Where would I get Spectral codes that I am asked to get the correct colours on my PC screen.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.[FONT=&quot]

    You shouldn't have to install any software for using a monitor unless you've installed a graphics card at the same time.
    What's wrong with the colours you're getting?

    Before it went about 18 months ago it was OK with the monitor but since I started it back up again the monitor colour is just showing green, blue and yeallow not any other colours.

    Make sure the VGA adapter that you are presumably using is screwed tightly to both the monitor and the PC.

    Have a look in the end of the cable and make sure none of the pins are bent.
