In actions -> Junk email -> Junk email options
go to the safe senders tab add your works email address in the format @myCompany.co.uk (nothing before the @)
Or go to the junk folder, right click on a works email and in junk email click add senders domain to safe senders list0 -
Hi, thanks I have done that, now what do I do about all the spam emails as I can't view the attachments to them! This is a basic email I get:
Your folder Spam contains 1 new message.
Messages in this folder will be deleted after 28 days.

Hi, I tried to send myself a test email and its saying
Task 'pop.1and1.co.uk - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC6F) : 'Your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: 554 Please check your SMTP server is set to smtp.orange.co.uk.
Please advise what this is? I set the smtp server to what I was told at work, I use orange, does this make any difference?Angel

Hi Angel
Usually when sending emails, most servers will insist that you use your own ISP. Make sure your sender's address is on the same ISP you are using to connect from home. E.G. If you are using Orange ISP from home then your messages should be sent using the Orange server.angelcake wrote:Hi, I tried to send myself a test email and its saying

If you right click the email do you see Junk Mail -> Mark as Not Junk?
If you then you should also move the messages out of spam folder and put them somewhere else0 -

If your ISP at home is Orange then you are expected to send your emails using your Orange email address.
There is a way around this, you can "trick" the system by showing one email address and sending through another smtp mail server, so you'll need to modify the email account settings to do that.
I'm not familiar with the Orange server settings but usually you will need to enter the exact server names and your username and password in the servers section (Menu:- Tools - Accounts - Orange - Servers).
Hope it helps...0
