The online service is down and they cannot say when it will be up and running.

Even when it is working, I find their online system to be poor and difficult to use.:(

Why exactly - it seems no different to many others - some are better some are worse.

I just logged in but it wouldn't provide any transaction details for my Clarity card, only the balance. I tried again two minutes later and it worked OK.

IMHO, the online system seems prone to downtime and less reliable than a.n.other providers I use. The online help is poor, I was on hold listening to speaking clock and transfered three times before I got someone who confirmed system was down. I prefer Capital 1 where I can easily view the actual statements, due date for payment and details of each transction.

I agree, their cc servicing section is rubbish, it was down at the weekend aswell, and I panicked, and thought they'd cancelled my card, as there was no info on there at all. I only use it to check my transactions, and just wait for my paper statement for the payment amounts etc.

I agree it is poor - I always preferred Barclaycard's system. Halifax looks like a bad attempt from an amateur web designer.

Puts me off using it at all!
