PPI template letters

Hi hoping someone can help, have had a letter back from bank saying loan has ended they have no obligation to provide any info, the site says to now ask for a full breakdown is there a template letter as i dont know how to word it. Thanks

I take it you have sent £1 and asked for your original agreement or terms & conditions. The bank are correct they don't have to supply this as the loan has ended. The only other way you can get information is to SAR them, a good template letter here (1st post by dreamer)

You have to pay a one off fee of £10, but this is not guaranteed to shed light on the loan but if finished within the last 6 years it might. You don't need your original agreement, all you need is the knowledge you were paying PPI, what form that PPI came in (upfront payment or monthly) the account number and a valid reason to feel you were mis sold
